Youth Association

Devoting to the God’s word, “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in  love , in faith, in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12), Morth Smooni Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church Youth Association, Ghala begun its journey in  2018. The prime mission of youth association of Morth Smooni Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Ghala is to be a model of the Christian youth spiritual life and assist the needed in leading such a life by identifying their needs and meeting those.

“I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). The Youth association of Morth Smooni Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church is blessed to be the helping hands for the community at different occasions, and especially during the pandemic. The youth association organizes blood donation camps and encourages church members to donate plasma for the treatment of COVID-19.

Morth Smooni Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church Youth Association also pinpoints the necessity of organizing and participating in sports events to make the members physically active. The youth association actively involves in every events conducted by various organizations within the church .  The youth association holds official monthly meetings to discuss the functioning of the association.
