Morth Smooni Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church , Ghala was consecrated on May 10, 2018. Believing in God’s word “ a commitment to faithfully teaching the whole counsel of God without compromise “. (Acts 20:27) subsequently the Sunday school starts the service from August, 2018. The Morth Smooni Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church Sunday School prospered its functioning with 106 students in 2021 from 50 students in the beginning and with 22 dedicated teachers . Two teachers are assigned to each class considering the teachers ‘working time’.
According to the word of God, ”a readiness to work hard” ( 2 Tim. 2:15) a dynamic and experienced team is behind the advancement of the Sunday School . in order to enrich the younger generation’s compassion the Sunday School organizes community visits. And Sunday school also discovers various podiums for the students to express their talents. Identifying the mission of a Sunday school as to ensure the pupils ‘ spiritual life centered on biblical values, Sunday school organizes VBS annually.
The Lord God has blessed the Sunday school to continue the classes virtually during the pandemic without any interruption. The talents day and an interchurch elocution completion were conducted successfully using the digital platform.
